Radial spherical plain bearings are mainly used in hydraulic cylinders for example forklift trucks, garbage trucks, excavators and cranes. But the application of a radial bearing is unlimited. SKF bearings, Ina Elges bearings, LS bearings and WSW bearings all have very good quality. We supply Fluro bearings. The bearings of Fluro are all at least of the same superior quality as those of SKF, Ina Elges, LS and WSW.

Maintenance bearing radial articulated bearings

are available in the following combinations of sliding surfaces:

  • Steel / steel
  • Steel / bronze
  • Niro / bronze

Steel/steel:
The inner and outer rings are made of hardened phosphated steel, the spherical sliding surfaces are treated with an inlet lubricant.

Steel/bronze:
The inner rings are made of hardened bearing steel and the outer rings are made of bronze.

Niro / Bronze:
The outer rings are made of stainless steel (material no. 1.4418) with insert holes and the inner rings of aluminum bronze (material no. 2.0975).

For proper operation, regular maintenance/lubrication of these bearings is required. The bearings are lubricated via lubrication holes and lubrication grooves. Steel/steel ball bearings are particularly suitable for changing loads with impact and impact loads.

Maintenance-free radial joint bearings

are available in the following combinations of sliding surfaces:

  • Composite material of hard chrome / PTFE
  • Hard chrome / PTFE fabric
  • Niro / PTFE fabric
  • Niro / Composite

Steel / PTFE composite:
The inner rings are made of hardened bearing steel with a hard chromed sliding surface, the outer rings are made of steel with a PTFE composite material sliding insert, the inner rings being pressed.

Hard chrome / PTFE fabric:
The outer rings are made of hardened bearing steel with firmly glued PTFE fabric and the inner rings are made of hardened bearing steel with a hard chromed sliding surface.

Niro / PTFE fabric:
The outer ring is made of hardened stainless steel with sturdy glued PTFE material and the inner rings of hardened stainless steel.

Maintenance-free articulated bearings with PTFE composite material PTFE fabrics are particularly suitable for single-sided loads and applications where maintenance is required for lubrication bearings reasons cannot be used.

Niro / Composite:
These bearings are made of stainless steel and a maintenance-free composite material, consisting of fine plastic material with evenly mixed solid lubricants.
The composite spherical plain bearings with stainless steel outer ring have been specially developed for applications in the offshore industry and in the hydraulic engineering of steel. These bearings are resistant to water and seawater.

Note: these bearings must not be lubricated. Lubrication shortens the service life!
