One of the key advantages of air hoses is their ability to efficiently transport air. These hoses are specially designed and manufactured to ensure a constant and reliable airflow. They are made from high-quality materials such as rubber or PVC, which can withstand the pressure and wear associated with air supply. As a result, air hoses can efficiently guide the flow of air, allowing equipment and systems to operate optimally.

Another important aspect of air hoses is their safety. These hoses are designed to meet strict safety standards and regulations, including pressure resistance and resistance to damage. They are often reinforced with materials such as textiles or synthetic fibers to strengthen the hose's structure and prevent leakage or tears. Additionally, air hoses may feature anti-static properties to prevent the buildup of electricity, ensuring the safety of operators.

Air hoses have a wide range of applications in various industries. For example, in the construction sector, they are used in pneumatic tools such as air hammers and drills. In the automotive industry, air hoses are used in the air intake system of vehicles to ensure the proper airflow to the engine. In the manufacturing industry, they are used in compressed air applications to operate machinery and control pneumatic cylinders. Air hoses are also used in laboratories, agricultural applications, and other industrial processes where compressed air is needed.

When selecting the right air hose, it's important to consider factors such as the pressure rating, temperature resistance, flexibility, and requirements for fittings and length. It is advisable to work with an experienced supplier who has expertise in air supply systems. They can assist you in choosing the right hose that meets your specific needs and ensures optimal airflow in your applications.

What is an air hose used for?

These high-quality PVC supertubes are often used for industrial applications where transparency, flexibility, a narrow bending radius, and high performance are required. The air hoses are suitable for industrial use because they can handle both hot and cold temperatures. The supertube hoses have a temperature range of -15°C to +60°C. The hoses are available in many sizes (6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 16, 19, 25, 30, 32, 38, 40, and 50 mm internal diameter).

PVC Air Hoses

The transparent PVC air hose is the most commonly used hose. PVC is suitable for food and is lightweight. PVC is very flexible at room temperature. At lower temperatures, PVC can become somewhat stiffer.

The Retin hose is ideal as a compressed air hose for use with compressors and air tools, as well as other pneumatic hose applications.

Properties of PVC hose:

Working pressure 20 bar (at -23°C) Burst pressure 60 bar (at -23°C) High resistance to wear Good abrasion resistance Very narrow bending radius Good weather resistance Excellent transparency Smooth inner wall and smooth outer surface

Rubber Hose

Rubber is known for its flexible material at high and low temperatures. It is wear-resistant, weather-resistant, and aging-resistant, making it suitable for heavier applications. Rubber, however, is a heavier material and can be more cumbersome when working at heights.

Properties of rubber hose:

Wear-resistant Good weather and aging properties Usable at -47°C to +87°C Does not kink Oil-resistant

Buying Air Hoses?

Materials

The materials in which we sell our air hoses are:

  • EPDM
  • PU
  • PVC
  • SBR
  • PU Polyurethane
  • SBR/EPDM

A compressed air hose is generally used to transport air, gas, or liquids. It is important to choose quality, as it needs to withstand high air pressure and wear. This ensures safe work without worrying about cracks or leaks.
